Megan draws from an integrative approach that includes Existential and Humanistic therapy,Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance andCommitment Therapy (ACT). She views therapy as a collaborative process of working withclients to understand themselves more deeply, respond to life’s challenges with greater flexibility, and live authentically aligned with what matters most to them. Additionally, she welcomesexploration of spiritual perspectives for clients who find these frameworks meaningful in theirhealing.
Before beginning her clinical training, Megan served as a Logistics Officer in the United StatesMarine Corps. That experience deepened her understanding of the unique challenges faced byservice members, veterans, and their families. She has also worked in both inpatient andoutpatient behavioral health settings, supporting adults and adolescents experiencing severemental health challenges.
Megan's clinical interests include trauma work, military and veteran populations, psychologicalflexibility, and the thoughtful integration of emerging psychedelic-assisted therapies into mentalhealth treatment. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore difficult experiences without judgment, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them.
