Shayna Kelleher

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, LCSW, PATP, CIMHP

Shayna Kelleher is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working in the

field of mental health. Her specializations include helping adults navigate through depression

and anxiety, heal from past trauma, improve relationships and self-esteem, and connect with

their inner wisdom. She believes true wellness is holistic and uses a trauma-informed blend of

cognitive, somatic, and mindfulness techniques to empower her clients to release and move

through what no longer serves them. She currently offers traditional psychotherapy and

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) using sublingual, intramuscular, and intravenous

ketamine in-person in San Diego, CA as well as virtual psychotherapy services throughout

California and Florida.

Shayna received her certification as a Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider (PATP) through

Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s year-long program and has completed extensive training in

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Polaris Insight Center and Fluence. She has

been working with ketamine as a tool to support her clients since 2021 and is in the process of

completing MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy Training through MAPS (Multidisciplinary

Association of Psychedelic Studies). Shayna is looking forward to incorporating MDMA and

psilocybin into her practice as these medicines become available to deepen psychotherapy and

support transformation for her clients. She is also a Certified Integrative Mental Health

Professional and an Empowered Relief Instructor.

Shayna’s past clinical experience includes working in psychiatric hospital units, emergency

rooms, intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and clinical research. During her

career, she has designed and implemented innovative mental health programs, conducted

clinical trials, supervised new therapists, and led teams of mental health professionals

delivering holistic care focused on treating the whole person, rather than just symptoms. In her

spare time, Shayna enjoys spending time outdoors with her loved ones in the Southern

California sunshine, taking a class to learn some new skill, watching live music, and moments

spent in peaceful solitude.
